An anionic metal–organic framework based on angular tetracarboxylic acid and a mononuclear copper ion for selective gas adsorption

A rare example of a MOF, <bold>ZJNU-55</bold>, based on mononuclear Cu(COO)₄ and an angular diisophthalate linker with a novel topological structure exhibiting selective adsorption of C₂H₂ and CO₂ from CH₄ at room temperature was presented.
