ENVIRONMENTAL SHIELD â A WAY TO REDUCE NITROGEN COMPOUNDS POLLUTION OF GROUNDWATER IN IRRIGATED AREA

When using Environmental Shield in proportion of 10 and 15 t / ha, the contamination of ammonium in 0-25 cm soil lysimeters were 11.0 and 12.4 mg / kg versus 6.5 mg / kg for the control group. If you use only fertilizer (control), the nitrate content in 0-25 cm soil layer reaches 15.6 mg / kg, and the option of making Environmental Shield at a rate of 5, 10 and 15 mg / kg were, respectively, 10.9, 9.4 and 8.4 mg / kg, which is significantly lower than the control group.
