Fatores ambientais e fisiológicos relacionados à propagação assexuada do mamoeiro (Carica papaya L.) e de espécies afins
Аннотация
Beside Carica, there are other genera within the Brassicales order, which evolved from a common ancestor and adapted to different environments and meteorological conditions, opening up the possibility of finding rootstocks with specific adaptations for different situations. Currently the installation of papaya orchards is predominantly planted with seeds. However, papaya responds similarly to other cultures in relation to the effect of the interaction between graft / rootstock opening the possibility to find combinations that enhance adaptation to different climate and soil conditions. This study aimed to identify a spectrum of differences between species, monitoring gas exchange, aiming at the possibility of being used as rootstock in breeding papaya programs. The results demonstrate that the tested species showed a wide spectrum of response and were sensitive to changes caused by the flood.
