Аннотация

They are regarded problems of food security as a condition for preserving the country’s economic sovereignty. They are given results of the analysis of achieving the parameters of Russian food independence, of the level and structure of basic foodstuffs consumption. It is concluded that the problem of food security is multiple-valued. According to the authors, in addition to food independence the problem of physical and economic access to food, the alignment of regional differences in the level and structure of consumption are urgent in Russia. The study found out the level of mismatch  of the principles and tools of the ongoing agri-food policy with the strategic objectives of agribusiness development. It is made a conclusion about the necessity of further improvement of state support, including economic measures, as well as legal and administrative regulation.
