ISSUES OF APPLICATION OF ACADEMIC STYLE IN A SCIENTIFIC ARTICLE

The author notes that a scientific article must be written on the basis of the rules of the scientific method, as well as the international standard IMRAD. In addition, the types of scientific articles and the application of the academic style in them are considered. It is emphasized that scientific and analytical and popular science articles should not be included in scientific journals, and these types of genre cannot be used when conducting scientific research and publishing its results. The author highlights the features of academic writing, also discusses the language norms of scientific articles.
