The article provides a structural diagram and the principle of operation of a device for strengthening the stitches of materials in a sewing machine. On the basis of the study of vibrations of the outer sleeve of the composite roller of the device, its main parameters are substantiated. The results of experiments on strengthening the lines of tarpaulin materials are presented.
