English as a medium of instruction in higher education

AbstractThis article attempts to analyze the importance of English in global world, the role of using English as a medium of instruction in tertiary education. Special attention is given to the «content and language integrated learning» (CLIL) as the most progressive approach to defining the scope of professional education.
