February 16, 2021, the President of the Republic of Uzbekistan signed the Law On International Commercial Arbitration(theLaw). As a result, Uzbekistan became the 85th country and 118th jurisdiction to adopt legislation based on the United Nations Commission on International Trade Law (UNCITRAL) Model Law on International Commercial Arbitration (hereinafter referred to as the UNCITRAL Model Law).
