Linguistic semantics - in the view of world linguists

AbstractThis article describes the formation of semantics as a separate linguistic field, its historical stages, and the scholars who contributed to its formation as a field. Some of the views of scholars who have conducted research for the development of semantics in world linguistics have been analyzed.
