GARDENS OF THE ERA OF ALISHER NAVOI AND HUSSEIN BAYKARA

Based on the study of historical sources of Navoi’s era (the works of Khondamir, Navoi, Babur), the article attempts to illuminate the gardens created by Alisher Navoi and the ruler of Khorasan Hussein Baykary in the city of Herat and in its surroundings. The article also defines and provides information about the khiyabans of Herat and their location in the city, about architectural and planning solutions, about the order and rules for creating charbags, about the green world and fauna, about irrigation of garden territories, about the semantics and attributes of charbags created in the eras of Alisher Navoi and Hussein Baykara. The distinctive features of the famous alley of Herat from other historical public-landscape alleys of the city of Central Asia by their function and architectural and landscape organization are highlighted, its distinctive feature from other historical alleys of Central Asia is shown.\n\n
