Аннотация

The conflict between two trademarks can be avoided if an expert in forensic linguistics is called upon while the junior brand seeks for name and designs logo about its brand. For these reasons, this study will try to provide answers to the following research questions: (a) Can a forensic linguist provides scientific evidence in the conflicts between trademarks? (b) What are elements to take into consideration? (c) Is it possible to determine the likelihood of confusion between STARBUCKS COFFEE and SUNBUCKS COFFEE? To answer these questions, the authors work with STARBUCKS COFFEE and SUNBUCKS COFFEE an authentic case
