Abstract: The article is devoted to the comparative analysis of verbal and non-verbal means representing the genres of speech etiquette in English and Uzbek languages. Furthermore, the definition of the key concept is given, as well as the idea of the peculiarities of the existence of etiquette speech genres on the verbal and non-verbal means is developed. Speech etiquette is the way people interact in formal and informal situations Social and, in accordance with their social and psychological role rules of culturally specific speech. Speech etiquette is “social polished territory”, a national-cultural component of communication.
