Аннотация
The transition from classical to neoclassical theory in the economic literature is considered as a scientific “marginal revolution - a radical revision of the subject and method of research of classical economic theory, which had a revolutionary character and changed the trajectory of economic science. Radical changes concerned both the subject, the main issues and accents in the study of economic processes, as well as methodological approaches, scientific tools of analysis and categorical apparatus. The focus of this direction was on problems related to the functioning of the market, its patterns and the efficient allocation of resources.
