Аннотация

The article deals with the issues of increasing energy efficiency in obtaining oil from cotton seeds. The relationship between the amount of oil obtained and the degree of damage to cotton seed pulp is shown. Electropulse treatment of cotton seeds is expected to increase the amount of oil produced and to reduce energy costs in the technological process. While the amount of oil extracted from cotton seeds under the existing technology was 14.6% relative to the seed and 35.8% relative to the kernel, this figure will increase to 4.5-5% with the proposed electric pulse treatment.
