USING CORPUS LINGUISTICS IN TEACHING LEISURE READING

The use of methods of applied linguistics in teaching a foreign language is considered. The potential of learning on the basis of corpus language material is analyzed. An analysis of such corpus linguistics methods as information retrieval (IR), data-driven learning, text searches in large-scale corpora (concordances), natural language processing methods (natural language processing) is presented.
