The article highlights the issues of diplomatic relations between the Bukhara Emirate and the Ottoman Empire. The issue of Russia's influence on relations between the two countries was also discussed. The role of Central Asian merchants in the Russian-Bukhara trade relations of the 18th century is shown. During this period, the Russian government also tried to restrict the activities of traders of the Central Asian khanates in pursuit of their political interests. Russia also banned the export of strategic metals and metal products to Central Asia. Despite restrictions on trade in Russia, traders from Central Asia did business and import raw materials from Russia to defend their country. The issue of the embassy of Ernazar Masud's son will be discussed separately. Sociopolitical situation in the Bukhara Emirate and the Ottoman Empire at the beginning of the 18th-19th centuries.
