COMMISSION FOR LIFE IMPROVEMENT OF TURKESTAN SCIENTISTS

This article is devoted to that the Soviet government, which was building a socialist society and promoting Soviet science, paid special attention to solving the existing economic problems in the field of science, took a number of measures in this direction, and took measures to improve the lives of scientists in Turkestan. The main focus of the study is the attitude of the Soviet government to Turkestan scientists in the 1920s, the measures taken to provide them with financial support through the work of the Turkestan Commission for the Improvement of the Lives of Scientists. It is also pointed out that the this commission was mainly intended for researchers working in Soviet scientific institutions (around 200,300 in the early years), that the establishment of the commission was an integral part of the Soviet government's social policy, and similarities and differences in the provision of commissions in the center and the country.
