Аннотация

AbstractThe article talks about the beginning of the emergence of the study of gender relations in ancient society. The points of view of many scientists dealing with the issue of the origin and place of women in society are considered. The idea is traced that before the formation of the patriarchy, the social organization was based on the principles of equality of women and men.
