This article aims to develop students' research skills through a project-based approach to project-based learning in order to further improve the education system of the Republic of Uzbekistan. stages of project preparation, elements of project-based teaching approach, role and advantages of teachers and students in project-based teaching and disadvantages of project-based teaching and project-based approach, assessment issues are included in relevant literature. . The method of literature and document analysis was used in the study. An analysis of relevant sources and literature was conducted for the study. Research-related books, theses, and lectures were studied, and the data obtained were systematically combined. Project-Based Learning Methodology (PBL) is a method that motivates students, facilitates the process of continuous learning, puts the student at the center of the teaching-learning process, and includes life topics and practices.
