SYNTACTIC CONNECTIONS CREATED BY PROFESSOR A.M. MUKHIN

The article addresses the contentious issue of considering the semantics of syntactic units in the positions of homogeneous clause components in a different way. The author of the article believes that the nuclear predicative link, which introduces nuclear components into the sentence, plays the most important role here. The article contends that the syntactic status of nuclear predicative links, as well as the syntactic content of syntaxemes provided by them in the positions of homogeneous clause components, must be considered. Furthermore, the authors call into question the ability of a coordinative link to influence the semantic content of syntaxemes.Taking all of these factors into account, the authors of the article refute the contentious issue of alternate consideration of syntactic unit semantics in the positions of homogeneous clause components.
