MAIN APPLICATIONS OF COMPUTER LINGUISTICS

The definition of the term "computational linguistics" is given. The basic concepts of the subject area are considered, the classification of linguistic software is given. Particular attention is paid to the relationship between the terminology of computational linguistics and theoretical linguistics.
