MORPHOLOGICAL SUBSTANTIATION OF CAPSULOPLASTY OF THE ANNULAR LIGAMENT IN OLD ANTERIOR-MEDIAL DISLOCATIONS OF THE RADIAL HEAD IN CHILDREN
Аннотация
Objective. Morphological study of the graft used in capsuloplasty, depending on the age of the injury and the age of the patient. Materials and methods. We present studies of the capsule of the elbow joint of 20 patients. The duration of injury in patients ranged from 1 month. up to 24 months. In all children, the anterior and posterior sections of the articular capsules were excised during the operation. The taken material was poured into a 12% solution of neutral formalin. Results and discussion. A morphological study of the structural components of the elbow joint revealed quite contrasting and convincing deviations in the joint capsule and synovial membranes in all age groups. Were noted to varying degrees, pronounced cicatricial-sclerotic changes with thickening and deformity of synovial bags, with stenosis of the articular cavity, infiltrates, thickening of the capsule of the articular bag and elastic fibers. Conclusion. The degree of severity, relief, involvement of the articular components in the adaptiverecovery processes, certainly depend on the etiological moments and the pathomechanism of the injury with dislocation of the radial head. However, their dependence on the timing of the injury and the age of the children is clearly traced.
