CREATING AN IMAGE IN PERSONIFICATION

This article sheds light on the origin of personification which is a type of metaphor and given discriptions, as well as how it is expressed in literary works. It is obvious that personification is mentioned within stylistics and lexicology in primary coursebooks. However, it is yet to exist clear definition of this device. In stylistics, personification belongs to the system of tropes while in Uzbek linguistics, it's is often replaced with allegory. The expression of personification in texts and poems intensifies the imagery and beauty of characters.
