Аннотация

Parkinson's disease (PD) is the second most common neurodegenerative disease, the pathogenesis of which is the degeneration of the nigrostriatal system and dopaminergic insufficiency. Treatment of this pathology is divided into pharmacological and non-pharmacological therapy. Among non-pharmacological methods of therapy, the effectiveness of transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) is evaluated, which shows effectiveness in correcting both motor and non-motor symptoms. However, in various scientific studies there is very conflicting information about the effects of this method of treating PD. In this report, we provide an analysis of publications related to TMS from 2003 to 2021, the purpose of which was to obtain complete information about the existing methods of therapy for this pathology.
