CLINICAL MANIFESTATIONS OF INFLAMMATORY COMPLICATIONS OF DENTAL IMPLANTATION

The study assessed the oxidative stress of the oral fluid in patients with inflammatory complications of dental implantation. The results of clinical studies have shown that the index showed the state of the peri-implant progressively increase with increasing severity of the peri-implant lesion. Index indicators of bleeding, tooth mobility, the state of tissues of the peri-implant zone, the depth of periodontal pockets and bone tissue in patients with mucositis and peri-implantitis were significantly higher than those of the control group (without implants) and patients with implants without complications. The results can be used to optimize traditional diagnostic tools, predict the state of the disease, and monitor the treatment of dental caries.
