This article gives information on how a hyponym forms the relational and semantic basis of a verb. AThis article gives information on how a hyponym forms the relational and semantic basis of a verb. American Linguists Chafe and S. Fillmore, English linguist L. Talmy, Uzbek linguist J.Sh.Djumabaeva, Asian linguist Abdul Chaer and other scholars ideas and opinions were presented and discussed. A lexical hyponymic configuration and hyponymic relationship of verbs such as “fall (yiqilmoq),“multiply (ko’paytirmoq), “strike” (urmoq), and walk (yurmoq) have been developed. The L0 layer, the upper layer L+1, and the lower layer L-1 were analyzed and examined with the help of examplesmerican Linguists Chafe and S. Fillmore, English linguist L.
