This article discusses the revival of Uzbek nationalism: a comparative study of identity formation in post-soviet Uzbekistan. The revival of Uzbek nationalism in post-Soviet Uzbekistan represents a multifaceted and complex phenomenon rooted in historical, political, and socio-cultural factors. By exploring the historical background, political climate, language policies, economic challenges, and socio-cultural aspects, this study seeks to provide a comprehensive understanding of the new national identity formation in Uzbekistan.
