Abstract Animal husbandry is one of the dynamically developing branches of agriculture in Uzbekistan, accounts for 46.3% of agricultural products produced in the country. During the experiment, the fauna, phenology and ecology of sim bovine-pasture flies in the conditions of irrigated and foothill zones of Uzbekistan were studied. At a wind speed of 1-5 m/s during the morning peak hours (12-14:00) at an air temperature of 25-26 °C and a relative humidity of 42-46%, the number of small barns on a 2-year-old black-motley bull was 160 specimens. It was reported that with an increase in air temperature (28-30°C) at 11-12:00 hours, a large number of individuals were found on the back and sides. In hot daytime hours (13-16:00) at an air temperature of 30-33 °C, a small barn from well-lit areas moved to the limbs.
