INFLATION TARGETING AS A FACTOR IN THE DEVELOPMENT OF THE COUNTRY'S MONETARY POLICY

In the context of world globalization and unfavorable economic conditions, the problem of conducting monetary policy is very acute. One of the "easing" and regulating ways of conducting monetary regulation is the inflation targeting regime, which deserves special attention. An analysis of world research experience and a deep, qualitative analysis of the possibilities of applying inflation targeting is useful for assessing the significance and possibilities of applying this monetary policy regime in each particular country. The article considers the role of inflation targeting, its content and specifics. The characteristics of the main categories of inflation targeting are described. An algorithm for the process of conducting the inflation targeting regime of monetary policy is presented. The main advantages and limitations of this mode are identified and described.
