THE PUBLIC CHAMBER AS AN IMPORTANT INSTITUTE FOR PUBLIC CONTROL OF THE ACTIVITIES OF STATE BODIES

The article shows the importance of implementing public control mechanisms through one of the tools - the vigorous activity of the Public Chamber, which currently functions on paper so far. The necessity of determining the legal status of the Public Chamber, clear regulation of its functions, powers and responsibilities, tools of interaction with state bodies was emphasized. The foreign experience of the activities of the Public (advisory, economic) councils is given, proposals are made to improve the legislation on the Public Chamber in Uzbekistan.
