D5.5 Landscape of emerging operational and procedural opportunities for first aid response on multi-casualty disasters

This document D5.5 provides a Landscape of emerging operational and procedural opportunities for first aid response on multi-casualty disasters in the EU related to: - Reconnaissance, triage and crisis response planning<br> - Maintenance, logistics and Deployment<br> - Command and Control and support to operational decision-making<br> - Common Operational Picture<br> - Alert and warning Each of these sections is structured as follows:<br> - Introduction<br> - State of the Art<br> - Landscape<br> - Perception of needs Finally, a reflection on the legal barriers and ethical concerns in developing a homogeneous landscape of new operational and procedural capabilities for first responders is included, and the main conclusions drawn from the work are summarised at the end of the document. The annexes to this deliverable contain the list of bibliographical sources, the list of acronyms used in the drafting of the text and the questionnaire sent to the experts consulted. <br> The identification and thorough review of documentation, as well as consultation and discussion among experts close to the project is the basis on which this document is prepared. This deliverable D5.5 is the final version of draft D5.1. To make it easier to identify the changes made in this final version compared to the previous one, they have been highlighted in yellow.
