Assessment of the Impact of Agriculture on Economic Growth

Аннотация

This article examines the impact of agricultural production on economic growth. a review of scientific literature on the impact of agricultural production on economic growth was carried out. The dynamics of the added value created in agricultural production, its share in GDP, the composition of producers, the share of the population employed in the sector and other economic indicators were analyzed. In the performed regression analysis, it was found that the rise in the proportion of the working population in this industry positively impacts the rise in the proportion of added value generated in agricultural output. Based on the study that was done, pertinent conclusions were drawn.
