Аннотация

According to the WHO (World Health Organization), if the number of patients in 2021 was 529 million, it is estimated to reach 2.5 billion by 2050. Lack of timely and quality treatment, failure to follow a diet, and various other factors lead to adverse complications in the patient’s body, causing diseases in the immune and nervous systems, as well as the cardiovascular system. In the complex treatment of diabetes, in most cases, it may be appropriate to use additional medicinal plants that possess blood sugar-lowering activity. The optimal composition of an antidiabetic tablet based on dry extracts of medicinal plants has been developed. Mathematical methods of experimental design and Harrington’s desirability function were used to optimize the tablet’s composition. The article provides a detailed description of methods for calculating the values of individual and overall desirability functions. As a result of the research, the optimal composition of the tablet was determined, meeting the requirements of regulatory documents.
