Modern grain drying complexes should ensure high-quality drying of food, seed and feed grains to preserve and improve its parameters. Each type of grain has its own limitations on the permissible level of damage to the grain. Therefore, modes with different intensity of mechanical action and rate of moisture removal are used to dry each of them. And the grain drying unit is precisely the device by which moisture is removed from the grain masses. The basic principle of heat supply in modern grain dryers is convective, all other options, if they exist, are more as experimental samples. According to the type of heating of the drying agent, convective grain dryers can be divided into devices with direct and indirect heating. In the first case, the air is mixed directly in the furnace with the combustion products and fed into the drying compartments, this is the most cost-effective method, but it is not recommended when removing moisture from food grains. When drying, indirect heating is used, that is, an intermediate heat exchange link is used in the form of a special radiator. In this scientific article, the scheme of the developed multi-chamber combined convective drying plant based on electromagnetic technology using a stepwise mode of an ultrahigh frequency electromagnetic field is considered.
