To effectively prepare future informatics teachers, it is imperative to address the development of research competencies as a pedagogical problem. This article explores the significance of research competencies in the context of informatics teacher education, discusses the challenges and barriers faced in their development, and proposes strategies and approaches for overcoming thesechallenges.
