Investigation of the interaction of a plane wave with a moving massive barrier in a two-layer elastoplastic medium

The study of the interaction of a plane wave with a moving massive barrier in a two-layer elastoplastic medium is solved analytically and numerically by the method of characteristics based on the theory of deformations, including generalized equations of state of the medium.The propagation of a plane shock wave in an elastoplastic medium with a more complex equation of state of the forming medium has been studied.The results show that taking into account nonlinear elastic impact diagrams leads to an increase in the circular stress wave compared to an elastic medium.It has been established that the stress concentration in a spherical cavity is higher than in a cylindrical one.
