This research aims to shed light on electronic storytelling and its role in enhancing the professional competence of Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers. The study focuses on two main variables. The first variable includes theoretical readings that clarify the concept of electronic storytelling, its importance, the significance of training Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers in electronic storytelling, overcoming digital storytelling obstacles, and activation factors for using storytelling among Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers. It also explores the future of storytelling for Arabic language learners in light of artificial intelligence. The second variable covers the development of professional competence for Arabic language teachers for non-native speakers by explaining its concept, importance, objectives, elements, and areas, as well as identifying obstacles hindering the professional competence development and strategies to overcome them. Finally, the research concludes with recommendations to enhance the role of electronic storytelling as an approach to developing professional competence
