Аннотация
The article examines the deterministic relationship between the concepts of freedom and necessity of Ibn Rushd, a major figure in medieval Arab-Muslim philosophy. His point of view is highlighted on the basis of denial, criticism and refutation of the opinions of the thinker's contemporaries. In medieval philosophy, the terms freedom and necessity were considered on the basis of a combination of religious and philosophical views. The author places special emphasis on the connection between the issues of fate and will.
