Аннотация

According to the World Health Organization, the main health threats for women aged 15-49 are tuberculosis (TB) and HIV. Over the past few decades, there has been a trend towards an increase in the incidence of dysplasia and cervical cancer in women infected with TB. The aim is to study the pathological changes in the cervix in patients with pulmonary TB. Study method. The study included 60 women with pulmonary TB, who underwent simple and extended colposcopy in the conditions of a TB dispensary in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Study result. The distribution of patients according to the type of the specific process in the lungs is presented in the chart. <fig><object-id>erj;64/suppl_68/PA5050/F1</object-id><object-id>F1</object-id><object-id>F1</object-id><graphic></graphic></fig> Cervicitis, ectopia, ectropion, ovulae nabothii, polyps and condylomas were presented as colposcopy results. For 8 (13.3%) patients cervical pathology was not identified. The frequency of detected pathological changes in the cervix during colposcopy (n=52), depending on the TB process in the lungs is presented in the table. <table-wrap><object-id>erj;64/suppl_68/PA5050/T1</object-id><object-id>T1</object-id><object-id>t1</object-id><table><colgroup><col></col><col></col></colgroup><tbody><tr><td>TB process in the lungs</td><td>Frequency of detected changes</td></tr><tr><td>Focal TB</td><td>19.2%</td></tr><tr><td>Infiltrative TB</td><td>46.2%</td></tr><tr><td>Disseminated TB</td><td>15.4%</td></tr><tr><td>Cavernous TB</td><td>7.7%</td></tr><tr><td>Fibrous-cavernous TB</td><td>11.5%</td></tr></tbody></table></table-wrap> Conclusion. More frequent detection of pathology during colposcopy in patients with infiltrative TB is most likely to develop a pronounced intoxication syndrome, predominance of exudation, more pronounced suppression of the immune system and may possibly act as a trigger for neoplastic processes of the cervix.
