CONTENT OF TEACHING STUDENTS USING COMPUTER GRAPHICS

This article mainly discusses the content and methodological significance of teaching engineering computer graphics in the modern higher education system. The stages of development of the engineering graphics discipline, from traditional technical drawing to digital CAD technologies, are analyzed. The didactic possibilities of teaching orthogonal and missing projections based on the AutoCAD software are revealed. The study substantiates the role of integrating computer graphics with traditional technical drawing in developing students’ spatial thinking, graphical competence, and algorithmic thinking. In addition, the article scientifically highlights engineering computer graphics as an integrative educational component of strategic importance in modern engineering education.
