Epizootology of sheep paramphistomatosis in the conditions of the Samarkand region of the republic of Uzbekistan
Аннотация
The article studies the epizootological situation concerning the co-occurrence of paramphistomatosis with fascioliasis and dicroceliosis. It identifies the causative agent of paramphistomatosis as an epizootic condition among sheep. The epizootic significance of trematode-induced diseases and their causative agents has been explored. The species composition and epizootology of parasitic trematodes in the biocenoses of the central and northeastern regions of the Republic of Uzbekistan have been determined. For the first time, the epizootological significance of paramphistomatosis among sheep raised in irrigated and foothill biocenoses of the Samarkand region has been scientifically substantiated. The results of comprehensive helminthological examination of sheep of various ages infected with paramphistomatosis in different districts of the Samarkand region were analyzed seasonally. The findings indicate that the highest incidence of paramphistomatosis in sheep occurs in the winter, with the highest rates observed in young sheep aged 4 and older.
