The aim of the research is to improve the technologies for monitoring written speech skills of students of non-philological faculties. The article focuses on modern methods for improving professionally oriented written speech skills in English. The experience of knowledge control in the formation of written speech skills is presented. The scientific novelty of the study lies in identifying and generalizing the psychological and pedagogical factors that influence the improvement of professionally oriented written speech skills. Particular attention is paid to the control and educational functions of monitoring in improving professionally oriented written speech skills of students of non-philological faculties. In conclusion, the article describes a model for using technologies for monitoring professionally oriented written speech skills in the process of improving the professional and communicative competence of students of non-philological faculties.
