Аннотация

This article is devoted to the problem of studying the creative consciousness of A. Baricco, who showed himself worthy and talented in music, cinema and literature. The concepts of ‘creative consciousness’ and ‘linguistic personality’ have been widely studied in the works of L. O. Butakova, M. Yu. Korolyov, J. N. Maslova, N. L. Leiderman. Based on their results, an attempt was made to analyse A. Baricco’s linguistic personality. As is known, the main factor that conditions the creative individuality of a writer, his dissimilarity to others, is his biographical experience. The article analyses the facts of Baricco’s biography: musical education at the conservatory, work experience in television and film industry, which determines his creative consciousness. His biographical experience is manifested in his works: it is felt in his use of miseen-scenes, clip editing, scenes similar to film frames, musical rhythm. Baricco has a special kind of narrative, he writes in the style of postmodernism and magic realism. The multifaceted nature of his work, his ability to interpret literary works, both modern and ancient (Homer’s ‘Iliad’), as well as musical masterpieces (Beethoven) is noted. A. Baricco has created his own creative laboratory, the Holden Writers’ School, where he teaches writing articles and literary works. This article analyses some works of the author (‘Silk’, ‘Novecento’, ‘Sea-Ocean’). As a result of the analysis, it was found that in his works the author uses various techniques and concepts characteristic of all types of art. The main elements of his narrative are musicality, cinematography and complex narrative.
