Аннотация

This article explores the process of tribological testing of plunger parts. Plungers, which operate under high friction, pressure, and temperature conditions, undergo testing of their tribological properties to ensure their effective performance. Various testing methodologies were used to assess the wear resistance of plunger pairs. The tests involved pure diesel and fuel containing abrasive particles. The research showed that plunger parts coated with composite chrome exhibited twice the wear resistance compared to those coated with pure chrome. This highlights the advantages of using composite chrome coatings to ensure the long-term operation and improve the efficiency of plungers. The article also provides important recommendations for improving tribological testing and the tribological properties of materials.
