Аннотация

In this article, presents the current state of grain production and post-harvest processing in Uzbekistan, discusses the existing challenges, and provides a comparative analysis and discussion of the available technologies. Although Uzbekistan's dry climate provides favorable conditions for storage, grain quality remains compromised due to poor soil, outdated equipment, and delayed harvesting. The drying process is crucial for preserving grain quality and suppressing pests. However, about 80 % of the existing drying technologies in Uzbekistan are obsolete. The proposed multi-chamber ultra-high frequency (UHF) drying unit offers a modern solution with high efficiency, low energy consumption, and effective quality preservation. It has shown promising laboratory results and is competitive with leading foreign systems. Widespread adoption of such innovative technologies is essential to reduce grain losses, improve storage quality, and strengthen food security in Uzbekistan.
