MASCULINE AND FEMININE DISCOURSE IN THE PROSE OF MODERN LITERATURE: THE EXAMPLE OF ULUGBEK KHAMDAM’S AND SVETLANA ALEXIEVICH’S NOVELS

This article explores the masculine and feminine discourse in modern prose through a comparative analysis of Ulugbek Khamdam’s “Equilibrium” and Svetlana Alexievich’s “The Unwomanly Face of War”. The research investigates how both authors employ post-Soviet literature to establish new moral values for gender and spirituality which they use to construct ethical narratives based on their individual and shared suffering. The research applies feminist criticism and hermeneutics and comparative poetics to show how Khamdam's introspective storytelling and Alexievich's documentary polyphony create separate methods to present human experiences of faith and conscience and memory. The research shows that gendered consciousness in these texts goes beyond biological and ideological definitions because it represents a search for social equilibrium during times of social collapse. The research shows how post-Soviet literature creates new spiritual identities through reflective and compassionate storytelling which establishes literature as a worldwide platform for cultural and moral exchange
