This paper discusses the design, implementation, and testing of an adaptive communication algorithm for an autonomous robotic platform. The proposed algorithm dynamically switches between Wi-Fi, LoRa, and Bluetooth communication channels based on signal quality metrics such as RSSI, SNR, and packet loss rate. The main objective of the study is to ensure reliable data transmission and minimize failures in environments with variable signal conditions. The testing process included evaluating the performance of each communication module in various scenarios, including different signal strengths, distances, and interference levels. The results demonstrated the ability of the algorithm to prioritize the most stable communication channel, reducing packet loss and maintaining system functionality. Additionally, an autonomous fallback mechanism was tested to address scenarios in which all communication channels fail, ensuring continuous robot operation without operator intervention. Key findings highlight the robustness of the algorithm in handling weak or unstable signals with minimal latency when switching channels. However, areas for improvement were identified, including optimizing the switching speed and adding notifications about complete signal loss [1]. The study concludes with recommendations for future improvements and discusses potential applications of the algorithm in IoT systems, remote sensing, and autonomous robotics. This work contributes to the development of multi-channel communication systems by providing a practical and adaptable solution for maintaining reliable communications in challenging environments.
