As businesses shift to agility, data-driven decision-making, and scalability, the monolithic ERP solution is no longer suitable to address the requirements of digital transformation. This paper explains how AI may be applied to bring ERP back to life in cloud-native ecosystems. It discusses how smart automation, predictive analytics, and natural language interfaces will help to make ERP a real-time decision-making system. The paper proposes AI streamlined, container based microservices systems that may be deployed on a public cloud, a personal cloud or a hybrid cloud. Business process intelligence, resource forecasting, user personalization and anomaly detection are the most significant ones. These kinds of issues such as the data governance, the complexity of migrations, integration, and security are overcome. The article gives the strategic roadmap of the AI-enhanced ERP systems and demonstrates how they will be able to greatly improve operational efficacy, scalability, and responsiveness in the digital era.
