THEORETICAL FOUNDATIONS AND MODERN APPROACHES OF COMPARATIVE LITERATURE AND COMPARATIVE LINGUISTICS

This article analyzes the theoretical foundations of comparative and comparative linguistics, their differences and common aspects, as well as their significance for linguistic research. While comparative linguistics serves to identify the genealogical and typological similarities of different languages, comparative linguistics studies their structural and functional aspects by comparing them. The formation of the disciplines of comparative literature and comparative linguistics, their interrelationships, and their place in modern scientific research are analyzed. The artistic connections between different national literatures, the problems of nationality and universality in the translation process, and the inextricable link between language and culture are also covered.
