FORMATION OF UNIVERSAL HUMAN VALUES IN PRIMARY EDUCATION STORY-READING LESSONS
Аннотация
This study examines the methodological aspects of forming universal human values in primary school story-reading lessons. It highlights the role of literary texts in fostering students’ moral, spiritual, and emotional development. The research demonstrates that stories with simple plots, vivid characters, and clear ideas contribute to the cultivation of respect for elders, reverence for parents, honesty, diligence, compassion, generosity, and patriotism. The study emphasizes the effectiveness of creative reading methods, analysis of artistic devices, and evaluation of characters’ actions in encouraging independent thinking and internalization of values. Story-reading lessons are shown to serve not only as a tool for literacy development but also as a platform for moral, cultural, and educational enrichment.
